Last term, Marjana’s Advertising Campaigns class worked on a special project for The Honeycomb Project, a nonprofit organization in Chicago that creates and manages meaningful volunteer projects for families.  Honeycomb is an amazing organization!  Learn more about what they do and how you can get involved:

After an initial visit with the co-founders Kristina Lowenstein and Catherine Tannen (our clients), students were tasked with creating an integrated campaign to announce and promote Honeycomb’s upcoming fundraiser event at Revolution Brewery and a redesign of their general poster aimed to attract volunteers.  Students had some wonderful ideas!  Here are just a few of them:

A couple months later, and a change in the actual event date, Kristina and Catherine choose a winner…Nes Davis.  He tweaked his design a little and now it’s being used to promote the event!  Here is the actual email campaign I just received:

Yay!  It looks really sharp.  Way to go, Nes!
