Who are we?

TheDesignLoop.org  is an online source for students and faculty of Westwood College’s Chicago Loop Campus Design Department, providing news, articles, and resources to help your design career and promote our campus community.

Author Bios

School of Design Faculty:

Kostadin Gueorguiev is an artist with over 20 years of experience. He continues to work with clients and teach students in 3D CG and fine arts.

Jeroen Nelemans was born and raised in the Netherlands, and currently resides in Chicago.  He works with a variety of mediums, mostly video, and is interested in the relationship between perception, the landscape and the moving image.

David Rodriguez is an artist, designer and teacher who works primarily in screen based media such as the web and interactive multimedia.  He teaches  classes in Design Concepts, Image Editing, Web Design and Multimedia.

Kayce Bayer is an artist and teacher, whose practice involves a combination of physical and virtual art-making, working equally with her hands and technology for a variety of media applications.

Marjana Erceg experiments in 3d modeling and painting, but has years of experience in designing Graphics for Print, Web and Digital Media.  She is currently exploring front-end Web/Multi-media projects as well as photography-based storyboarding.

Chris Lin is an artist working in cardboard scultpure and installation, a videographer/filmmaker, and compulsive drawer.

Denise Johnson is the designer behind Bellis Studios, serving clients with Print, Web, Branding, and Custom Letterpress. She owns and operates a cylinder letterpress!

George Kassal has been working in Photography for over 20 years, with knowledge in both traditional and digital photography techniques.

Lindsay Chenault is a Chicago-based graphic designer specializing in design, illustration, custom monograms, and stationery.

Ryan Schiewe is an artist and designer who works mainly in time-based mediums (video/animation), and hand-drawn illustration.
